ANDERS ROSBERG (SE)

It’s minimalistic, playful and luxurious in a subtle way, where functionality and quality are key words. It has a subtle Scandinavian look, filled with basic styles.

Minimalistic: I like to use the subtle way of minimalistic cuts and lines to shape the garments and use classic shapes like straight lines and circles to create the needed functional details.

Playful: I like the idea of the user of the garments being able to easily reshape them with my applications or their own and I like to use minimalistic lines and structures to create playful details.

Luxury: I use fine natural fabrics and together with a minimalistic shaping it creates an air of subtle luxury.

Functionality: I create functional garments that are easy to use and to combine.

Quality: I work with fine natural fabrics that makes the garments last, especially when worn with manners.

sustainable vision

My vision on sustainability is to create garments that can last for a long time, both fashion- and quality wise. I use only organic fabrics. I also believe that it’s very important to produce the garments in a way where everybody who has been a part of the production has been treated in a fair manner. That’s why I’ve chosen to produce in Lithuania, which is a member of the EU, and as such, subject to sound regulations regarding labour.  In order to ensure a high level of fabric quality, I also acquire the majority of my fabrics within the EU.

ANDERS ROSBERG'S UNIVERSE

I’m a Swedish designer living in Copenhagen, graduated from Margrethe-skolen 2006 and founded my company 2013.

I describe my design as minimalistic and like to combine the simplicity of my design with fine natural fabrics. I search for inspiration in circles, lines, shapes, structures and volumes in nature as well as artificial structures. In my collection I like to work with modules, which create possibilities for the user of the garments to easily reshape and rebuild them.
I work with one collection where I add and remove styles for every new season, I design all the styles so they will fit into the collection and bring continuity.

I believe in great design, fabric and style and I believe it lasts for more then one season. I love continuity and I love setting my own rules.
